Anywhere where hard water is distributed to the households or where hard well drinking water is used, problems with scale built up in hot water systems, their associated piping and hot water producing appliances exists. The scale growth on the hot water distribution piping inner surfaces in time will restrict the water flow. The scale built up in hot water appliances will reduce the appliance’s efficiency, its design capacity and in time render the appliance ineffective, requiring expensive appliance removal and replacement. The annual chemical system treatment of flow through hot water appliances in hard water regions is necessary to restore the appliances ability to provide for hot water while the output of hot water diminishes through the time of use. The drum type humidifier’s motor burns-out due to filter scale built-up. The sediments on kitchen sinks and surfaces, bath, shower surfaces harden and are difficult to remove without expensive chemicals that are harmful to humans, domestic and wild animals, fisheries and the environment. The disposal of such chemical in the sewers requires additional expensive collective water treatment.
AntiCa++ devices, when installed on the systems, cause the hard water to obtain the properties of soft water, preventing scale and hard sediments formation. As a benefit, when installed on existing systems, over a period of time, it will dissolve and remove its old scale deposits. This is the reason why in most cases when the AntiCa++ devices are installed on existing systems, the existing systems do not need be de-scaled chemically. The dissolved deposits are washed out from the system through regular water use. The recommended installation of the device is on incoming cold water piping so that all supplied water is treated.
The benefits of AntiCa++ devices installation is in water use where changes of chemical composition of water are undesirable e.g. drinking water and food preparation – this has been field proven.
Install the AntiCa++ devices on the incoming cold water piping entering the home (after or before the flow meter). In the case where the installation does not allow the placement on incoming cold water pipe, than place the device on piping upstream of the hot water appliance.
Where separate hot water heating and domestic hot water systems exists we produce devices with output for two separate piping systems, e.g. with one output for hot household water and another for central heating. The systems piping may have either identical or might have different diameters.
